Bungoma County is headquartered in Bungoma, and comprises of the following sub-counties; Kanduyi, Kimilili, Webuye East, Webuye West, Bumula, Mt. Elgon, Sirisia, Kabuchai, Tongaren and its neighbouring counties are Trans Nzoia, Kakamega, Busia, West Pokot, Uganda. Bungoma main economic activities are Sugarcane, maize, coffee, dairy, poultry, fishing, manufacturing, cross-border trade.

About Bungoma County

Bungoma County borders Busia, Kakamega, Trans Nzoia and Uganda. Bungoma Town serves as the county headquarters. Fertile agricultural land and the slopes of Mount Elgon support maize, sugarcane, coffee, dairy farming and horticulture. The Bukusu community forms the majority of the population, alongside the Sabaot. Tourism is supported by Mount Elgon National Park and cultural attractions. Historically, Bungoma has been an important agricultural frontier and cross-border trading region between Kenya and Uganda. Bungoma Sub-Counties are:
